Brett resides in the Hollywood Hills where he renovates and develops properties for his personal real estate portfolio.
He also advises on his client’s renovation and development projects, including a Beverly Hills estate that was recently renovated and sold for $17 million. Brett is currently consulting on a $15 million development in Santa Monica and a $25 million residence in the coveted “Bird Streets” of the Hollywood Hills. Both projects will be coming to market in 2020.
Brett completed his bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley, receiving Phi Beta Kappa and Highest University Honors, and is a UCLA Merit Scholar and graduate of UCLA School of Law.
As a former securities litigation attorney at two of the world’s largest international law firms, Skadden, Arps LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP, Brett spent years defending a consortium of investment banks against liability in excess of ten billion dollars stemming from the MCI/WorldCom corporate bond default.
Brett has travelled to more than 75 countries on five continents and represented clients in the purchase of luxury properties in Europe and South America. He is the fifth generation of his family to practice real estate in Los Angeles.
